Organized with the collaboration of the Confederation of Turkish Employers Association, The Foundation of Microsurgery and Reconstruction, and the Society of Emergency Hand Care and Microsurgery, the International Congress on Occupational Accidents, Hand Injuries and Amputations will be held at Swissotel The Bosphorus, Istanbul on April 26-27, 2019.
The main focus of the congress is emergency hand injuries and amputations and it will also offer a rich scientific program including the topics of "Preventing Occupational Accidents, Treatment and Rehabilitation of Emergency Hand Injuries".
Internationally-renown speakers will share their precious experiences during the congress. Those contributions made a very rich scientific program possible. We hope young microsurgeons would be interested in. Lectures and discussions on several aspects of industrial injuries have the potential to create new horizons for them.
Considering the fact that the scientific committee has scientists from various countries, this international scientific congress would be more attractive for candidates preparing their files for the application to academical positions. The presentations will be accepted after a preliminary scientific review, and the full text or abstract of presentations will be published in the congress proceedings.
Industrial injuries generally result in inability to sustain profession and a healthy social life. Often, the productivity of injured persons decreases or totally diminishes secondary to severe industrial injuries. The treatment of such injuries is long, cumbersome, and expensive bringing along a major social burden. It is possible to alleviate the negative impacts of such injuries via an early, efficient and comprehensive treatment. It is on the basis of such a perspective that we organize our congress, and it is highly important for our professions for you to attend it, share your experience with others, and in brief, be a part of this scientific event. We believe our congress is a brilliant opportunity to improve coordination between surgeons and therapists, and hear the experience of eminent speakers from various countries. To facilitate this and ensure that participants can hear all international speakers, the number of halls is reduced to one throughout Friday and in the morning sessions on Saturday. Professional simultaneous interpretation will be available.
We hope to see you among us during this exclusive scientific event by the Confederation of Turkish Employers Association, the Foundation of Microsurgery and Reconstruction, and the Society of Emergency Hand Care and Microsurgery, and expect you to kindly invite and encourage your colleagues. Looking forward to meeting you in our congress.
